Can I lose my salvation?

Read Ephesians 1:13-14:

13 When you heard the message of truth, the gospel [good news] of your salvation [eternal life beginning on earth], and when you believed in Him [Jesus], you were also sealed [A king’s signet ring seal would make a law permanent.] with the promised Holy Spirit.  14 He is the down payment of our inheritance [eternal life fulfilled in heaven], for the redemption of the possession, to the praise of His glory.

Read Hebrews 12:7:

7 Endure suffering as discipline:  God is dealing with you as sons.  For what son is there that a father does not discipline?  8 But if you are without discipline — which all receive — then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
